The Great Escape

On July 29, the Middle School Youth Ministry Program is heading back to Johnstown, PA for the best week of their summer!

The Great Escape is an annual summer conference for middle school students! TGE Alum describe it as a fun, exciting atmosphere where students feel comfortable and loved. It is also inviting, fun, fresh and exciting for those who have never gone on a retreat before because it is the first time many are away from home worshipping God and letting loose with PPC friends. Just ask some of our TGE alumni, most students will say that it is the best week of their lives!

We will gather with over 500 youth from other churches in the Northeast for 5 days of sports tournaments, small group discussions, fellowship and even a few messy games(you may want to bring goggles).

The week is also highlighted by an incredible band, as well as the country’s most dynamic speakers and small group leaders(some of which are PPC alums) who understand how to communicate in real ways to teenagers.

HELP NEEDED

In order to keep the cost of the retreat lower, we will be organizing a team of parents and volunteers to help car-pool to Johnstown on July 29th and/or pick us up on the morning of August 3rd. This will be a great opportunity to serve the Middle School students of this Church and we hope it is life giving for you to hear about their excitement! If you are at all able to help, email Marshall Bell, our Director of Youth Ministries, as soon as possible!
